Josh graduated from La Trobe University’s Melbourne campus with a Bachelor of Health Sciences/ Master of Physiotherapy Practice degree. Over the last 10 years, he has worked extensively as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist across several roles including Physiotherapy clinics, a Sports Medicine clinic and a NHS hospital.
Josh is experienced in the treatment of all types of sporting and spinal injuries. Josh has a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries, and the management of lower back pain. Josh has a keen interest in the latest developments in the Physiotherapy world and takes pride in finding creative and effective solutions to get people back to doing the things they love.
Josh grew up in Ballarat and moved to Melbourne for University, lived in London working as a physiotherapist for a few years before returning to Australia and relocating to the Sunshine Coast.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I have experience treating all areas of the body and pride myself on helping people minimise their time on the sidelines, using manual therapy, bracing, taping and other items to get people back up and going fast.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
Travelling, music, surfing, hiking, beach days, road trips and gym sessions.

Mark ‘Howie’ Howard (Sports Commentator)
‘Howie’ has an incredible story, he spent his early 20s travelling after finishing University and lacking direction and purpose. After a few years of travel and self-exploration he landed a job running cables for cameras in F1 racing and has worked his way up to being a top-tier Sports Commentator and Podcast Host. ‘Howie’ attributes his success to saying yes to new opportunities, working hard and enjoying the journey of life.

Your most-outstanding achievement:
Completing a 3 week Trek in Nepal’s Himalayan mountains
