Chris is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who completed his Bachelors of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Monash University. Since graduating he has worked in private practice treating spinal and sporting conditions. He has past experience working in sporting teams including national-level touch rugby and field hockey.
Chris has also completed his post-graduate Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from La Trobe University which has furthered his skills and knowledge. He is experienced in treating all types of injuries but has an interest in lower back pain, knee, and shoulder injuries. Chris believes in collaborating with his clients and finding effective solutions to keep you on the mountain!

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
Apart from clinical experience, I enjoy getting to know my patients and take the time to understand their individual needs. Being able to communicate and work together to achieve your goals is my priority.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy bouldering and often spend my free time at the local climbing gym. It’s a great mix of problem solving and physical ability! Besides climbing plastic rocks, I also love travelling the world.

What would be your personal motto?
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Who is someone you admire and why?
Phil Knight – co-founder of Nike. His story about entrepreneurship is fascinating and it shows how being resilient and believing in yourself can lead to your goals. I would recommend reading his memoir Shoe Dog!

Your most-outstanding achievement:
I once won a year’s supply of donuts from a national donut store chain. I’ve never eaten so many donuts in my life.
